At your own pace you will be able to study for a level 1 or 2 (roughly GCSE level) qualification in adult literacy.  Each week you can explore spelling, reading, grammar and punctuation with a small group of learners. It is a great opportunity to improve your skills, make friends and gain confidence.  This course runs over 3 terms and students are able to enrol throughout the year up to the start of the third term, as long as places are available. You will need to have an interview and assessment to make sure that this is the right course for you. Crèche  available.

Health for Life

You will develop a sound level of competence in the use of counselling skills.  This course has been designed for those who use counselling as part of their functional role, such as nurses, police personnel, line managers, youth workers etc.  Students should be over 18 and have either completed an Introductory course in counselling or have certified practical experience of using counselling skills over at least 30 hours. Progression to the NCFE Level 3 qualification is offered.
